A big thank you to all who came and visited our garden at Harcourt Street, Hawthorn this past weekend. This particular Jane Jones Landscape’s design was opened as part of the Rotary Club of Kew’s biannual Garden Design Fest, to assist in raising funds for a number of selected charities.
The event proved to be a great success as the weather held out and many flocked from around the country to enjoy the gardens on display. Preliminary indications show a record net sum available for distribution to Kew Rotary’s nominated charities this year, and we are pleased to say that over 1200 people came through our garden alone.
Over the weekend we had the pleasure of meeting a variety of individuals and garden loving public. We felt particularly privileged to have become acquainted with a couple who had met in the garden 60 years ago; who’d come to reminisce and see how time had changed it.
Thanks must also go out to the Rotary and community volunteers who manned the gardens, sponsors of the event and the owners of the property. We also greatly appreciate those whose feedback was overwhelmingly positive.
We hope you had the opportunity to explore this Jane Jones Landscapes design, if not please enjoy the accompanying photos of the event, and witness how the garden has changed and developed in the project portfolio.
